It's an awesome series by Alan Gibbons that mixes horror and time travel. Not a sci-fi and not that scary either. Its a story about a boy named Paul Rector and his fight against the forces of evil(sounds cliche already) and his family's destiny. Each book takes us back through Britain's/England's darkess moments in history.
Book
1. Scared to Death-Paul Rector is an ordinary schoolboy when the bodies start to turn up on the streets of East London. Somebody is duplicating the Jack the Ripper murders. Strangely, there are no marks on the bodies. It is as if they have been scared to death.
